Director of Pickleball

Growing up in West Hills, California, Gabriel Joseph began his racquet sports journey starting in tennis, a sport he excelled at and continued to play to high school before turning his attention to pickleball. Gabe's introduction to pickleball in late 2018 sparked a new chapter in Gabriel's athletic journey, leading to his entry into competitive play in 2019. By 2020, his early success propelled him into the professional realm, as he actively participated in both the PPA and APP tours. His exceptional skills secured him a remarkable ranking, soaring to as high as No. 4 in the world in singles and earning medals at numerous prestigious events.

Beyond the competitive arena, he discovered a profound love and passion for sharing his in-depth knowledge of the game with others. Engaging in clinics and private lessons became an integral part of his mission while competing on the tours. Notably, he has been a dedicated tennis instructor since 2015, and over the past four years, he has exclusively focused on teaching pickleball to clients in Calabasas. His commitment extends beyond personal achievements, solidifying his reputation as both a formidable player and an enthusiastic ambassador for the sports he loves. Gabe is excited to bring his passion for the sport and his skill to the Calabasas Pickleball Club as the Director of Pickleball.
